It's the trooph. I'm not dead. But I am teaching what is my least favorite class so far. If i'd only known ahead of time how bad it would be, I would have skipped chapter 2 totally. Just so you know.
I've come to terms with the obvious fact that no one is going to be upset If we don't achieve great things. No one will feel cheated If we don't make up the snow day. No one will notice If I capitalise [sic] If.
I have a daydream of Trix and I taking a vacation as in "going somewhere".
What about new mexico? I've heard bad things, e.g. the state flower is a road cone. I've also heard good things.
We need a big bottle of Zazz. I just can't drink it right now, what with the intensive winter teaching. I told my class today that with class already scheduled for saturday, I will not be showing up for the scheduled snowday makeup on sunday. So there!

Hey, we're thinking of a trip, too! Oregon in June/July, baby! Preliminary searches of Orbitz reveal that flights from Hartford to Portland and Seattle aren't that expensive. I would love to do a long trip hitting Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, then down the Oregon coastline (awesome), but that might be too ambitious for our wallets.
What I've heard of New Mexico is that the cities/towns are often nice, but driving in unpopulated areas is a drag because there's a lot of litter thrown from cars out there. But why?!
i've got peeps in Portland we could stay with!!!!!!!!!!! (Warning: they WILL convince us to move there!)
And POTENTIALLY a lay-over connection in the Vancouver area.
Hell, I know people from here to there, why not road trip it???
4 people and a rent-a-car? how expensive is that?
I just looked up rental cars. For a moneht they range from $675-about $1500 depending on the size...but there WERE a few for about $700 that were not luxury or economy...divided by 4 that's not bad! (although, I suppose there is that whole FUEL thing) and do we really have a WHOLE MONTH!?!?!?!?!
Your enthusiasm is infectious! Whoop! Whoop! If I land a high-paying job that gives me a month of paid vacation I'm totally in!
