Seminar, Seminaren't.

I am going to the seminar of logic tonight. The speaker is the author of a book which I OWN and have READ (parts of.) We're all having dinner afterwards. This is one of the more anticipated events on the seminar schedule for me.
When I said I was looking forward to a talk from a "celebrity", my advisor suggested that I might ask him to sign my book. I said I'd be a bit embarrassed to do that. He said he wasn't going to get his copy signed.
I can tell you're all very excited.
