Hyperbolic Frolic

Today is hyperbolic function day (observed).
This is the first time I've taught this topic, and it makes me remember learning it at Marlboro College, in physics, for some reason unknown. I know it is useful to someone, and I know *WHY* they call them hyperbolic. That' enough for me. I'm just glad I remembered why they're called hyperbolic.
Last night, I spoke to tricia half-asleep, and she jotted it down. I was definitely not with-it and obsessed about arranging objects. She thought I was talking about rearranging our rooms and I thought I was talking about putting little objects in rows of 10 in logical order. I can only imagine that this is a delayed after-affect of too much SuDoku, though I stopped playing it about a week ago.
