Hullaballoo
Well, I've been stood up. I went home and came back specifically to meet two students (during my regular OH). Luckily, I brought my wife with me. You know, the one who just got her dream job. We'll be jetting down to the Have bright and early tomorrow. As in 6AM. Yep. Things to do: eat eat eat. See see see. We'll do the "bump into," and the "fall asleep sitting up." We'll probably do the "still not pick up the canoe", although really all we need is some rope and pads -- possibly even rags. The truck too, of course.
I made ghost eggs for brunch. I wanted to add a real egg in there so I could really believe that I wasn't eating scrambled skim milk. Bread & butter. Coffee. I'm a naive protege with the french press.
Got a movie to watch tonight -- it's already gotten the pre-approval from T-bomb. Starring the elfin Tatou.
I need to write a midterm before it's too late. Coming up with the problems is the hard part. Typing it is the easy part. I feel a conflict whenever I'm creating assignments. I want it to be easier than whatever the previous one was, so that people can finish all the problems and know what theyre doing. I also feel it's ridiculous to give them problems which they've already seen. I suppose the problem is that I expect them to know how to do something once I've demonstrated how to do it. Is that so wrong? It *DOES* take practice. I sorta just want to tell everyone to buy This book so they can have a reference on how to solve problems. Would it sink in? This is basically what *I* used for my exams -- lots of problems with solutions. I have to think there is a difference, though.

1 Stalk(s):
Boo? You are such an "in-the-know" cryptic writer.
